Imagine you had someone sending you real-time notifications indicating available parkings in a given area; brilliant. ParkMe makes this a reality. The Santa Monica based service provides parking information to navigation companies and smartphones. ParkMe also provides the ParkMe API that enables developers to integrate this functionality with other applications.
MetricFire Provides Application Metrics-as-a-Service
Dave Concannon and Charlie von Metzradt, co-founders of MetricFire, live in different parts of the world (Dave is in California and Charlie lives in Ireland), but collaborate on a mission to provide quality application metrics. The MetricFire API is one of the tools that the company offers for data transmission.

Late 2017, the Apple developer community was set ablaze by a rumored Project Marzipan that would converge macOS and iOS. While the developer community did what it could to uncover the plans, it appears any plans addressing cross-platform development have more to do with declarative APIs.
