In July, ProgrammableWeb reported that Amazon had launched GameCircle, a new set of gaming APIs and services for the Kindle Fire. Amazon has just announced the launch of the Amazon A/B Testing Service Beta, which offers easy in-app A/B testing for developers who create and distribute apps and games using the Amazon Mobile App Distribution Program.
Github has open sourced a Ruby library it calls Scientist. The idea behind scientist is that it helps developers to replace old clunky (but working) source code "with confidence." In other word, there's less praying when you're ready to cut over to the new version. But can it work for APIs too?
Postman, an HTTP client for testing Web services, has announced the launch of Postman Pro, a new version of Postman that features API monitoring, documentation generation, and collaboration tools. The new Postman Pro tools have been added on top of the standard Postman application.
