This is a library for a command-line interface written in C (ANSI C) to access the notification functionality of the Pushover API and integrate it with iOS and Android devices and applications. Pushover.Net is a service for sending real-time notifications to Android and iOS devices.
Google has begun distributing a new release of Google Play Services to all Android devices, and along with it made a new SDK available to developers with a handful of new APIs. The main additions include a Google Analytics API, Tag Manager, Address API, Google Drive API, and updated support for Google Play Games. Google Play Services 4.3 is being pushed to hardware already running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and up. This encompasses the bulk of smartphones and tablets in use today.
In a perfect example of how APIs can enhance an application to make it more useful and productive, Facebook announced it is integrating OpenTable in its mobile app. If you are a Facebook user, you can now book reservations on your mobile phone via a restaurant’s Facebook page, without leaving to go to another application.
