The Zencoder C# Library by Chad Burggraf is a .NET C# Client Library that assists developers with using and integrating the Zencoder API. The Zencoder API provides web-based encoding software-as-a-service, designed to quickly convert any video into web and mobile compatible formats, with various languages available.
Facebook has made several recent announcements including the enabling of API error notifications in the Facebook Developer Alerts tool, a new video channel for developers and the first Developers Live event to take place on February 19th.
Vid.ly, a service of Encoding.com, offers services like video transcoding, device detection, delivery, and storage. The company announced an extension of its Vid.ly API, to allow Vid.ly Pro customers to retrieve view statistics of their videos. According to Jeff Malkin, president of Encoding.com, this has been "the most highly-anticipated feature request" since the launch of Vid.ly Pro last summer.
HeyWatch recently launched its Robot API to make it easier for developers to integrate the company’s video encoding platform into third-party applications. HeyWatch, which is based in France, takes the work out of video conversion and encoding.
