The Zillow Python library by Hannes Hapke allows to convert a home address into real estate data based on the Zillow database. Some of the attributes found in this wrapper include home_detail_link, coordinates, year_built, year_updated, and home_description. The library presently supports GetDeepSearchResults and GetUpdatedPropertyDetails API.
After a year-long retirement phase, Parse has officially shutdown. A popular Backend as a Service platform, Parse shot to fame in the developer community quickly after its founding in 2011. Facebook acquired Parse in 2013, but Facebook directed resources elsewhere starting in early 2016.
BlockAvenue, location-based analytics company, has announced the release of its first BlockAvenue API. The API gives developers access to BlockAvenue's data (e.g. BlockScores, block reviews, neighborhood reviews, counts, etc.). BlockAvenue provides geolocation data on most neighborhoods across the US, often down to the block level. Its database grows everyday and BlockAvenue expects the API to push BlockAvenue towards its ultimate goal.
