Argus API Streamlines Commercial Real Estate Data Integration

Altus Group, commercial real estate software and solution provider, has launched its Argus API. This suite of APIs provides programmatic access to a host of Altus group solutions. The goal of the API is to streamline the connection between Altus customers through direct Integration of customer apps and Argus solutions provided through the Argus cloud.

"The CRE industry is experiencing a proliferation of systems servicing key workflows which is generating islands of data; this has created an urgent need to better put data to work with a more open, seamless and integrated approach," Carl Farrell, Altus Group President, commented in a press release. "Through a broad set of APIs that we will make available, Argus API helps to solve workflow connectivity challenges by enabling clients to more easily connect applications and data across systems."

Altus built the API suite with three feature groups in mind: flexible and simplified integration, greater access and utilization of data, and increased workflow connectivity between applications. The APIs available end the need for extensive database integration through an ability to connect hundreds of data points. Argus centralizes multiple sources of data that allows better access and synchronization of data. Connectivity is increased through real-time data sharing and integration.

To launch the API suite, Altus has partnered with a group of commercial real estate technology providers. Once integrated with launch partners, Altus will publish pre-built API connectors between Argus and the solution providers. This will eliminate the bulk of the upfront integration work needed for typical cross-provider sharing. Visit the Altus Group site to learn more.
