Best New Mashups: Visualization Mashups Using Twitter, Google Earth and Bing Maps

One of the coolest things about working with data is creating visualizations to uncover new and unexpected insights. Developers use APIs to do this all the time and Twitter is easily one of the most popular ones available. Tweeting Earth - Let's search tweets on TweetingEarth.com. You can check tweets around the world from each timezone. You can rotate Earth using Mouse wheel, and also show up tweets window by clicking timezone. This site is using HTML5 features (such as SVG) so this site does not work on old version of IE. Twitwhere - This Service is a mashup service using twitter and google maps apis. It displays a users twitter status on the globe. APIs used include: Twitter, GoogleEarth, GoogleAppEngine. More at our Twitwhere profile.
