Daily API Roundup: Aircall, Semantics3, Workflow, GitLab SDKs

Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or Source Code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at editor@programmableweb.com.

We’ve added 6 APIs to the ProgrammableWeb directory today in Jobs, Customer Service, Reporting, and Notifications categories, among others. Also new to the directory are several SDKs for use with the GitLab API.

Workflow is a task automation application. The Workflow REST API allows developers to access and integrate the functionality of Workflow with other applications and create new applications. API methods include creating, managing, and retrieving workflows.

We’ve primarily categorized the Workflow API under the Tasks category. See ProgrammableWeb’s complete list of Tasks APIs.

Synclist is an integrable database of job listings. The Synclist API provides website developers with access to job descriptions of 37,600 jobs in 1800 industries for use with registration forms and other tools. End users can partially type their industry or job title into a form field, and get suggestions returned for the form fields. We’ve primarily categorized the Synclist API under the Jobs category. See ProgrammableWeb’s complete list of Jobs APIs.

Aircall is a phone customer support Platform. The Aircall REST API allows developers to access and integrate the functionality of Aircall with other applications. Developers can get number, call, and user information with the API. The Aircall API is listed in the Customer Service category. See ProgrammableWeb’s complete list of Customer Service APIs.

The Google Analytics Multi-Channel Funnels Reporting API generates Google Analytics report data. Generate a report for a specific Analytics View and customize reports by specifying a combination of dimensions and metrics, a set of options parameters, and a date range. We’ve categorized this API under the Reporting category. See ProgrammableWeb’s complete list of Reporting APIs.

Semantics3 offers product and pricing APIs for e-commerce applications. The Semantics3 Push API lets developers integrate price change notifications into their websites and apps. Users can submit a product or URL and get notifications when there are price changes. The Semantics3 Push API is listed under the Notifications category. See ProgrammableWeb’s complete list of Notifications APIs.

Gogobot is a service that provides travel recommendations based on information from other travelers. The Gogobot Review API provides programmatic access to ranked reviews for hotels, restaurants, and interesting things to do for thousands of destinations.

GitLab is an open-source platform for developers collaborating on code and coding projects. The GitLab REST API allows developers to retrieve and manage users, post and get issues, and manage project information. Several SDKs for use with GitLab have been added to the directory. The SDKs give developers a way to integrate their applications with the GitLab API using the corresponding languages. Additions include:

Beanstalk is a hosted subversion service that allows designers and developers to store source code, track changes, and collaborate with their team. The Beanstalk API can be used to build tools or services around Beanstalk account information. The Beanstalk PHP Library by Chris Barr allows developers to integrate the Beanstalk API into their PHP projects and applications. This Library requires PHP 5, the libcurl library, and the SimpleXML extension.

And finally, Google Genomics R Library was also added to the directory. It allows developers to integrate the Google Genomics API into their R projects and applications. The Google Genomics API lets developers share and explore genomic data such as DNA sequence reads, variants, cell sets, and other datasets.
