Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. We've added six APIs to the ProgrammableWeb directory in the Healthcare, Backend, Library, and Caching categories, among others. Included in today's additions is the BaasBox API, which allows developers to integrate with a free, open source, mobile backend platform. Akamai offers cloud and content delivery services. Akamai Connect API is a deployment and management service for Akamai Connect Cache engines. GBV Patrons Account Information API, provides methods for looking up, requesting, and cancelling loaned and reserved items, and looking up fees and general patron information. Tradable Bits Media offers social media marketing services for sports, tourism, entertainment and other agencies. Tradable Bits API lets developers implement the services into apps.
