Daily API RoundUp: Barclays, Body Labs, Soclip

Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at editor@programmableweb.com.

Nineteen APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including 3D, Sales, Analytics, and Banking. Highlights today are several APIs from Barclays from their Rise Marketplace initiative, and the Body Labs SOMA Shape API for 3D measurements, movements, and visuals.

APIs

Body Labs provides 3D software focused on the human body and how it moves. Body Labs SOMA is human-aware Artificial Intelligence technology that transforms photos, videos, body scans, or physical measurements into the accurate 3D body shape of people. The shapes can then be compared or measured for fitting and sizing purposes. The Body Labs SOMA Shape API provides a programmatic interface to get shape and measurement values from images, height, weight, and gender. The API is listed under the Augmented Reality category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Augmented Reality APIs.

The Ohpen API lets developers integrate the functionality of Ohpen with other applications. API access and documenation comes with account service. The API is listed under the Banking category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Banking APIs.

Soclip allows users to sync music with video. Developers can use the Soclip Music Syncing API in their applications to automatically sync video with audio tracks. The APIgenerates a JSON file output from an audio file. The JSON file provides optimal locations for transitions and effects and other useful information. The Soclip API is listed under the Video category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Video APIs.
