Daily API RoundUp: Beam, TM Forum, Skype Bot, CleverTap, Radiant Media Player, Microsoft

Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. Twenty Two APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Recognition, Engagement, Editing, and Games. Highlights include the Skype Bot REST API for deploying Skype messaging bots. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.

APIs

The Skype Bot REST API allows developers to create and deploy messaging bots for Skype. Some of the API methods include accessing accounts, creating bots, and deploying bot messages. Recruiterbox is a specialized platform used to manage the hiring and applicant process. This platform offers resume management, applicant tracking, careers site management, recruitment automation, and collaborative recruiting. The Backend API is used for server to server communication. CleverTap provides a platform for user behavior analytics and personalized messaging for mobile applications. The CleverTap API can be used to integrate engagement tools such as push notifications, segmentation, in-app notifications into mobile applications. ContentTools is a WYSIWYG content editor. The ContentTools API helps developers to integrate content editing into HTML applications. It provides JavaScript library, HTML parser, and a minimal state machine that aim to facilitate development. The ContentTools API is listed under the Editing category. Fanpage Karma is a service that helps users compare social media profiles to competitors in order to improve social reach. Use the API to access and compare analytics from Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. Fanpage Karma API is listed under the Social category. Radiant Media Player is a video player for Web and mobile. The Radiant Media Player API allows developers to add streaming functions such as play, pause, stop, mute, set volume, resize, show captions, and toggle full screen to applicaitons. Stattleship's service can determine which sports, teams, and players a given brand's customers are passionate about. The Stattleship API is designed to provide brands with the data they need to connect with sports fans via social media. Beam is a game video live streaming platform. The Beam APIs allow for access to all possible achievements that can be earned and user progress, as well as retriving lists from channels, chat, costreaming, liveloading, logs, and others within the Beam Inactive games. Allmyles is a bookable travel content consolidator. The Allmyles Double Clutch Payment API intends to provide bookable travel content for developer's applications that let users purchase travel services without the need of travel industry related legal and technical prerequisites. The Microsoft Cognitive Services Speaker Recognition API identifies individual users, and authenticates users by voice. It can be used to add a layer of security to third party applications with a speech verification tool. The Speaker Recognition API uses is listed under the Recognition category. TM Forum is a global member association for digital businesses. They provide a platform on which members from a wide range of industries can create, prototype, deliver, and monetize digital services for their customers. Eleven APIs from TM Forum have been added to the Tools category. The are:

TM Forum Usage Management API allows developers to create, update, retrieve, import, and export a collection of usages.

TM Forum Billing Management API allows users to manage their billing accounts, bill items, and settlement note advice.

TM Forum Agreement API provides users with a standardized interface for managing agreements, especially those between partners.

TM Forum Service Qualification API allows developers to provide service availability at customer locations.

TM Forum Product Ordering API allows users to place product orders that include all of the necessary parameters.

TM Forum Performance Management API provides methods for managing the resources involved in performance management. It can also provide notifications for events related to performance.

TM Forum Activation and Configuration API allows developers to retrieve, create, update, and delete services.

There are also three Pre-Ordering Management APIs including TM Forum Address API allows developers to access an address management system over a standardized interface. TM Forum Appointment API allows developers to book appointments over a standardized interface. TM Forum Quote API allows users to place customer quotes programmatically.
