Home Assistant is an open-source home automation platform that tracks and controls devices at home. The Home Assistant REST API provides access to data methods for the Home Assistant control service. It allows you to return the current configuration, return basic information about the Home Assistant instance, return all data needed to bootstrap, return an array of event objects and more. The Home Assistant Server Events Streaming API allows users to consume server-sent events. The server-sent events feature is a one-way channel from your Home Assistant server to a client that is acting as a consumer.
