Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at email@example.com.
Eighteen APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories such as Insurance, Testing, Sales, and Internet of Things. Highlights today include four more APIs from Business Intelligence solution provider, Clearbit. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.
Reposify platform finds devices' relationships with people and other devices, and detects what technologies exist on each device, such as an accessible database, Web server, or specific operating system. The Reposify API allows developers to gain insights about devices connected to the public Internet worldwide. Developers can use a browser to access URLs, as well as most HTTP clients in any programming language to interact with the API. The API is listed under the Internet of Things category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Internet of Things APIs.

See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Insurance APIs.
JivoChat API allows developers to add a live chat platform to applications. JivoChat is available for Windows, Mac OS X, Android, iPhone, and Web applications. The API provides functions for managing chat mode, getting contact information, and more. This API is listed under the Chat category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Chat APIs.
Clearbit offers solutions for developers to construct business intelligence APIs. We've recently added four additional APIs from Clearbit to our directory. Clearbit Reveal API integrates the retrieval of a company IP address information Clearbit Prospector API integrates contacts and emails fetching features associated with a company, employment role, seniority, and job title. Clearbit Discovery API allows for company search with customized criteria, such as funding, type of technology, and similarity. Clearbit Enrichment API integrates person lookup features such as name, location, and social handles. The Clearbit APIs are primarily listed under the Business category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Business APIs.
Parature is a customer service chat platform from Microsoft. Developers can use the Parature API to integrate the service with third-party apps, and synchronize contact, product and other information between systems. The Parature API is listed under the Customer Service category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Customer Service APIs.
Merchenta is an online and mobile ad platform. Their Pixelling API allows developers to target ad campaigns to users via email or websites. The Merchenta Pixelling API is listed under the Campaigns category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Campaigns APIs.
Zephyr is a cloud based testing platform with applications and metrics based visibility via real time dashboards. Using the Zephyr REST API or the Zephyr SOAP Web Services API, developers can integrate Zephyr services into apps, create a testcase in a sepaate tool and add it to Zephyr, or create an execution cycle and update the status of a testcase execution run. The Zephyr APIs are listed under the Testing category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Testing APIs.
The UCF (Unified Compliance Framework), complete list of Compliance APIs.
InsideSales.com provides sales lead management technology to businesses with a telephony suite of tools including voice messaging, auto dialing, and lead response. The InsideSales SOAP API enables InsideSales reps to qualify leads, dial and improve contact rates. To use the SOAP webservice users need to access the WSDL document for their company's subdomain. The API is listed under the Sales category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Sales APIs.
Perfect Audience provides mobile, Web and Facebook retargeting dashboards to clients. Developers can extract data from social media ad campaigns with the Perfect Audience API. Reporting services include campaign, ad, conversion, and segment size report. The API is listed under the Advertising category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Advertising APIs.
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international community for setting Web standards. Two more APIs from W3C were added to the directory today. The W3C Visibility API allows a resource to request that a user agent guarantee to display its viewport in an unmodified manner and report on its success or failure in meeting this guarantee. Additionally, the API document defines a mechanism for requesting visibility protection and receiving notifications if events are delivered to a resource that is not meeting its visibility contract. The W3C CSS Painting API is a specification that describes an API for allowing developers to use an additional function to their CSS code. This affects the paint stage of CSS, which is responsible for painting a box's background, content, and highlight based on the box's geometry and computed style. Support may be added for defining the clip, global alpha, and filter on a portion of a box in future versions of this specification. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Standards APIs.
