Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at email@example.com.
Seven APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory today in Shipping, Audio and Database categories, among others. Here's a rundown of what is new.
Contentful is an API-first content management system designed to work well across multiple device types. Two APIs from Contentful have been added to the directory. Contentful Preview API allows developers to view unpublished content by delivering drafts for entries. Contentful Images API allows users to retrieve images from assets such as PDF files, images, and videos. Developers can implement this API to add image editing features to applications such as changing image format, modifying JPEG quality, re-sizing, cropping, and changing background color. These APIs are categorized under Content Management.
Smoke Reports provides a large cannabis product database. The Smoke Reports API provides developers a way to access a growing list of cannabis products, including more than 16,000 cannabis strains, extracts, edibles, as well as producers, seed companies and dispensaries. We've listed this API under the Database category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Database APIs.
Rickshaw is an on-demand delivery and courier service offering same-day delivery. The Rickshaw REST API allows developers to access and integrate the functionality of Rickshaw with other applications. Sign up for an account to get details about API access.
Ordoro is a shipping and inventory management software company. The Ordoro API allows developers to build apps that simplify ecommerce operations. Developers can access inventory and shipping task information, postal labeling, tracking, returns, and more.
CloudByte ElastiStor virtualizes all of the resources of a storage system, eliminating the need to stack physical storage boxes for each application and manage silos. Users can allocate storage between applications as needed. CloudByte ElastiStor REST API allows developers to integrate the administrative controls for the application storage services. We've listed this API under the Storage category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Storage APIs.
