Twenty-one APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories such as Payments, Banking, Cloud, and Blockchain. Highlights include several banking APIs from Singabore-based DBS Bank, and the AWS Cost Explorer API. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.
Amazon Web Services has launched a new API which provides AWS Cost Explorer information. The AWS Cost Explorer API allows users to programmatically query cost and usage metrics of aggregated data for a given time frame. Retrieve total monthly costs, total daily usage, granular data, tag keys, tag values, filter values for a specified filter, EC2 Reserved Instance utilization and more with the API. Veem is a business-to-business payments platform that leverages multi-rail and Blockchain technology for transferring money in an easy and secure way between 60 countries. The Veem API is designed for businesses that send and receive international and domestic payments. The primary use case of the Veem API is sending money to vendors/suppliers. Users of the API can make a request that initiates a bill payment process and then follow up on its status. Developers with user accounts can request API credentials and documentation. Token.io provides payments and data access to different banks through one API. The Token.io API can be used to aggregate user account information, initiate payments, build B2B payment integrations, and to integrate eCommerce checkout processes. North Data is a provider of a database of profiles of German companies. The North Data German Companies API provides access to the database of company profiles including details such as company names, contacts and addresses, senior executives and legal representatives, financial performance indicators, company lifecycle, and company history. The Ipdata.co API allows developers to integrate the functionality for accessing a variety of geolocation datapoints from any IP address. This includes City, Continent, Country, Latitude and Longitude, Organization or ISP, Region, and Timezone. Ipdata.co allows you to select monthly or annual plans that suit your needs. Lob provides APIs for physical (stamped) mail automation. The Lob Letters API simplifies the printing and mailing of letters provides endpoints to integrate Lob functionalities to create letters, retrieve individual letters, cancel letters, and retrieve a list of letters. Singapore-based DBS Bank, which is Southeast Asia's biggest bank have recently launched a banking API developer platform. Southeast Asia's biggest bank is giving developers considerable access to the innards of the banking operation via several APIs. We've added many of them to our Banking category, and listed some of them here:
DBS FX Rates API allows authorized users to retrieve foreign daily and historical exchange rates, and set preferred foreign exchange (FX) rates for DBS Customers.
DBS PayLah! APIs enable Partners (Merchants) to perform payment request for online checkout, transaction inquiry, refund etc. The documentation showcases all available endpoints and operations for the PayLah! API.
DBS Bill Payments API provides functions to settle the payments owed by the Bank customer to Credit Cards, Loans and other Billing organizations authorized by the bank.
DBS Reference Data API allows developers to obtain an array of valid values and descriptions for the specified fields or domains.
DBS Public Information API provides functionalities to access public information provided by DBS like services (such as ATMs, branches, extended hours branches), also functions for articles, article search, popular articles, and eAppointments (such as book an appointment with branch).
DBS Standing Instructions API provides functions to setup, retrieve, and manage automatic, scheduled, or recurring electronic payments to registered payees.
DBS Cards API supports initiating debit card account opening process for new customers.
DBS Deposits API allows applications to perform account management operations such as account creation, account status updates plus enquires on account information, account holders and transactions for various accounts held by the party.
DBS Channel Preferences API provides functions to view and manage a customer's preference for a specific Banking channel.
DBS Rewards API provide functionalities to retrieve rewards balances, redeemed rewards, rebates including historical information. The Rewards API also provide functionalities to view Rewards Catalogue items and redeem Rewards as miles, Vouchers, Cashback for your earned Rewards points.
DBS Prospects API provides information on prospects via user registrations, for campaign management. Functions include searching, retrieving, creating, and updating prospects.
DBS Opportunities APIs provide functionalities to search, create, update,and retrieve the opportunities associated to any campaign or Prospect. The API generates information on opportunities via user registrations - for sales/cross-sales and leads generation.
DBS (Mortgage) Loan API provide functionalities to create and save, retrieve, update, cancel and search for a mortgage loan application, view list of loan pricing packages and to request for instant loan assessment. Current scope covers only retail applicants.
Prism.io is a chat platform that helps gather and make sense of user behavior and feedback. The Prism.io API allows developers to access and integrate the functionality of Prism with other applications. API and documentation access is available to developers registered with accounts.
