Daily API RoundUp: Firebase, PagerDuty, ReadGeek, API-NBA, KeyedIn

Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or Source Code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb's directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there's a listing in one of our directories that you'd like to claim as the owner, please contact us at editor@programmableweb.com.

Thirteen APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Books, Sports and Billing. Highlights include the Firebase Management API released this week, and the Caselaw Access Project API which provides free access to millions of law books. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.

Caselaw Access Project offers open access to law cases scanned from the Harvard Law Library. The Caselaw Access Project API (CAPAPI) serves all official US court cases published in books from 1658 to 2018. This includes over six million cases scanned from the Harvard Law Library shelves. Developers can use the API to access Caselaw programmatically, to run analysis, or build tools for other users. CAPAPI also includes an in-browser API viewer. This project is operated by the President and Fellows of Harvard College, and is filed under the Law category.
