Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at email@example.com.
Twelve APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Marketing, Gambling, and Weather. One highlight today is the MoneyPot API for creating betting games that use bitcoin as currency. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.
GitHub has recently announced that the GitHub GraphQL API is now production ready. GraphQL is a query language created by Facebook in 2012 and a runtime for executing those queries with existing code and data. GitHub GraphQL API allows developers to request data from GitHub using one API call, which matches the queried format (customized JSON calls that return relational JSON formatted responses).
