Daily API RoundUp: Google Cloud Billing, Periscope.io, ClearBlade

Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at editor@programmableweb.com.

Eight APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories such as Application Development, SQL, and Billing. Here, we summarize the new additions and how they can assist developers.

APIs

Periscope connects directly to a user's SQL database, letting them run, save, and share analyses of billions of data rows in seconds. The Periscope Embed API allows developers to create and customize graphs made from SQL data. It automatically keeps charts and dashboards up-to-date so users won't need to run the same query repeatedly.

We've categorized this API under the SQL category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of SQL APIs.

ClearBlade provides secure enterprise software for connecting to the Internet of Things to companies around the world. The ClearBlade API offers a scalable application development platform to integrate with existing applications. Features include micro services, real-time messaging, and analytics. We've categorized the ClearBlade API under the Application Development category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Application Development APIs.

TeamCity is a Java-based continuous integration and build management server from JetBrains. The RESTful TeamCity API allows developers to make HTTP requests to the TeamCity server and get a response. We've categorized the TeamCity API under the Project Management category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Project Management APIs.

Nzbplanet indexes the contents of the public news service, Usenet. The Nzbplanet API allows developers to access the nzb and index data by integrating the API service into their applications. This API is REST based, and the output formats are XML and JSON. The Nzbplanet API is listed in the Data category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Data APIs.

The Google Cloud Billing API allows developers to integrate Google Cloud Billing service into their applications. This API is REST based. Developers can use the API to retrieve billing account information, list billing accounts, and list or get information about billing projects.

The Google Cloud Billing API is listed under the Billing category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Billing APIs.

Bondora is an investment platform for European personal loans. These loans are funded directly by investors rather than through banks. All borrowers are risk-assessed and assigned into credit groups whose interest rates reflect their relative risk. The Bondora API allows developers to access the platform for application integration with methods to get a bid an investor has made, get a list of auctions, make bids, get user information and more. We've listed this API under the Financial category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Financial APIs.

Apico provides voice and messaging services for mobile and desktop applications. Three APIs from Apico have recently been added to the directory.

The Apico Messaging API allows the integration of messaging features into applications. API methods are available for customization, bulk messaging, delivery reports, and notification settings. Apico Messaging guarantees that every message will be delivered with their service.

Apico Numbers REST API allows users to obtain phone numbers from anywhere in the world. Features of the API include simultaneous voice sessions, inexpensive calls without expired balance, and numbers across the world by request.

Finally, Apico Voice API was detailed in last Friday's Daily RoundUP.

We've categorized the Apico APIs under the Telephony category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Telephony APIs.
