Daily API RoundUp: Hydrogen, Reconess, Lexigram, WallOfCoins

Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or Source Code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb's directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there's a listing in one of our directories that you'd like to claim as the owner, please contact us at editor@programmableweb.com.

Ten APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Artificial Intelligence, Bitcoin, and Advertising. Highlights include the WallOfCoins API for integrating with the bitcoin marketplace and the Reconess API for facial recognition abilities. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.

Reconess is an Artificial Intelligence service. The Reconess API returns face analysis, face detection, face identification, face landmarks, and face verification data in JSON or XML format. Reconess API can detect and locate one or more human faces within an image or video and will return precise face location boxes and head pose. This API is listed under the Recognition category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Recognition APIs.
