Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Eight APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Data, Finance, and Electronic Signatures. Highlights today include IBM QISKit for working with IBM Quantum Experience hardware and the eWise Categorization-as-a-Service API for financial spending data analysis. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.
Satori is an open source, live, open data platform provided by MZ, the makers of "Game of War - Fire Age" and "Mobile Strike". Satori provides streaming access to massive live datasets such as Twitter statuses, Github public events, or Wikipedia recent chanages. The data is organized in channels and consumable via Satori SDKs. The Satori RTM API offers a cloud-based, real-time managed messaging platform that uses a "wire protocol" to enable communication between two ends. The API allows users to subscribe to specific channels in order to receive a stream of messages. Data is exchanged with JSON objects. The API is listed under the Data category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Data APIs.
eWise offers finance data and personal finance management services. The eWise Categorization-as-a-Service (CaaS) API adds automatic organizational capabilities to financial applications. The API combines raw transactional data and an AI based on big data capabilities. Clients can understand their spending patterns, and focus on business strategy. JSON is the preferred format for data exchange and API Keys are required for authentication. eWise offers a secure way to bring together all of the customer's financial accounts. This API is listed under the Financial category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Financial APIs.
The Enetpulse Sports Data API integrates live scores from over 30 sports, including soccer, American football, baseball, basketball, cycling, horse racing, motor sports, swimming, and volleyball. Data is available in XML and JSON formats. With the API, developers can optimize needs for media and gaming, automate data, filter contents, and integrate into over 17 languages. The Enetpulse API is listed under the Sports category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Sports APIs.
Eversign is a secure e-Signature API that allows developers to automate legally binding electronic signatures into applications. The API provides enablement of creation and management of legally binding digital signatures for contracts, NDAs, approvals, legal forms and anything else that needs a signature. The API features methods for electronic signatures, documents & security, in-person signing, audit trail, templates, and app integrations. This is a well documented API. Pricing and plans are tiered into: 50, 200, 500 and custom number of requests. The API is listed under the Electronic Signature category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Electronic Signature APIs.
IBM's Quantum Experience was developed to provide students, professionals and scientific communities an interactive interface for accessing the company's cloud-enabled quantum computing portal and hardware components. The IBM QISKit API comes in as a handy tool for interacting with Quantum Experience's hardware. It allows developers to deploy the OPENQASM code. This API is listed under the Open Source category.

The Fuel Prices India API integrates the latest Fuel prices for major Indian cities. The API available for fetching fuel price, display cities, and show prices. Via the Heroku app, developers can fetch petrol and diesel prices live. The API is listed under the Transportation category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Transportation APIs.
Counterparty provides peer-to-peer finance actions using custom tokens that can act as their own cryptocurrency while still running on the Bitcoin blockchain. The Counterparty Server API provides a JSON RPC API based off of the Bitcoin Core. It is the primary means by which other applications should interact with the Counterparty network, and is listed under the Cryptocurrency category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Cryptocurrency APIs.
The CrowdScores API provides developers with live scores of football (soccer) games around the globe. It is available with GET requests and JSON responses that generate data from teams, matches, competitors, rounds, seasons, and league table. The API works by counting event reports from fans at stadiums via mobile app, people watching games at home on TV using the website, and deep mining of Twitter. The CrowdScores API is listed under the Sports category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of SportsAPIs.
