Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’ve added 9 APIs to the ProgrammableWeb directory today in such categories as Recreation and Health. Also added: Lob Node.js SDK.
Preview Microsoft’s Health Cloud API and leverage data from Microsoft Health in your own apps. Use the Microsoft Health Cloud API to access user data like heart rate, step counts, or distance and activity data like run, bike, guided workout, or sleep activity. See the project documentation for full method descriptions and instructions on getting started.

The IBM Watson Natural Language Classifier API lets developers interpret language. Developers without background in machine learning or statistical algorithms can implement this natural language processing (NLP) service into applications enabling them to receive questions and return either a request or response based on classification.

Cognition Corporation provides solutions for product and process development to medical device companies. Cognition Cockpit is a unified system for capturing, tracing, and managing data, including Risk Management, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) Management, Testing, Requirements, and Knowledge Management. The Cognition Cockpit API allows users to modify Cockpit data through a comprehensive interface. We’ve listed the Cognition Cockpit API under the Products category. See ProgrammableWeb’s complete list of Products APIs.
ACTIVE.com is an online community revolving around people and the sports and recreational activities that they like to do. Three APIs for use with data and information associated with ACTIVE.com have been added to the directory in the Recreation category.
Active Campsite Search API allows developers to add data to applications from parks, campgrounds, and campsites located in the United States and Canada. Search filters include RV friendly, electricity, hunting, fishing, arrival date, and length of stay.
Active Popular Activity Search API provides data associated with endurance, team sports, youth camps, tennis leagues, parks and recreation, fitness, classes, outdoor adventure, and business events.
Active Campground API lets developers create applications to promote campgrounds available at ReserveAmerica.com, which contains trip-planning guides, hunting and fishing licenses, and camping gear. API users can query for data such as campgrounds with horses in California or campgrounds in Maine that allow pets.
See ProgrammableWeb’s complete list of Recreation APIs.
As mentioned yesterday, Bugsnag is software that detects and diagnoses crashes in web or mobile apps. Three more APIs that provide access to Bugsnag functionality have been added to the directory.
Bugsnag Errors REST API allows developers to access and integrate the errors functionality of Bugsnag with other applications. API methods include listing account and project errors, retrieving error details, and managing errors.
Bugsnag Projects REST API allows developers to list account projects, retrieve project details, and manage projects.
Bugsnag Accounts REST API allows developers to list accounts, retrieve account details, and authenticate accounts.
Lob Node.js SDK is an official Node wrapper for the Lob Simple Area Mail API and Lob Simple Check Service API, both of which are designed to simplify printing and mailing services for developers. Developers can use this SDK to work with their node applications.
