Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at email@example.com.
Ten APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Translation, Banking, Games, and Science. Also new to the directory are SDKs for Gmail, Sunlight Foundation, Strossle, and Facebook Graph APIs. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.
TranslateMedia offers online language translation services for Web content. TranslateMedia SOAP API allows developers to integrate with the service, retrieve translations, post and manage jobs and projects, and track orders and jobs. TranslateMedia SOAP API is listed under the Translation category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Translation APIs.

This API is listed under the Zip Codes category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Zip Codes APIs.
NASA's Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center (PO.DAAC) stores oceanography and climatography related data obtained by NASA. APIs provided for integrating with PO.DAAC include Image Granules API which renders granules to jpeg and/or png files, Search Dataset API, for searching the database by various parameters, Granules Metadata API, which retrieves granule metadata from PO.DAAC's database, Extract Granules API, an extraction service producing netcdf3 or hdf4 file outputs, and Dataset Metadata API, which gives access to PO.DAAC's dataset catalog. The NASA PO.DAAC APIs are listed under the Science category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Science APIs.
