Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at email@example.com.
Five APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory recently in categories such as Internet of Things and Email. Here, we summarize the new additions and how they can assist developers.
MODE, which was founded by former Google and Yahoo engineers, "serves as a virtual back end team for IoT companies". MODE offers 2 service plans with different production limits. MODE REST API provides a cloud platform for developing in IoT environments and features multi-app development, access control and more.
A typical MODE-based system will have architecture similar to this diagram / MODE Developers
