Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at email@example.com.
We have added eight APIs to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories such as Marketing, Nutrition, and Payments. Among the new additions is the Payfirma Push API, which offers a mobile payment system to developers. Here, we summarize the new additions and how they can assist developers.
APIs Payfirma offers web terminal, recurring billing, and tablet POS services. The Payfirma Push API allows for customized transaction implementation. The company website provides all the steps to implement the API.
POPCheck provides easy tracking for field marketeers and POP installers. The POPCheck API allows for programmatic access to the POPCheck service. Take photos on-site, capture survey data, have data instantly available to Head Office, and more with the API. We've categorized the POPCheck API under the Marketing category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Marketing APIs.
Edamam is a recipe search platform with nutrition data capabilities. It can filter recipes by over 25 attributes including recipe complexity, and nutrition information. The Edamam Diet Recommendations API is used to build custom diet plans.
EveryBlock aggregates public data from 5 metro areas across the USA. Everyblock combines different types of data, localizes it, and makes it available to developers through its APIs. The Event API is used to publish scheduled events from Everyblock's aggregation platform. The EveryBlock EventAPI is listed under the News Services category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of News Services APIs.
BlockCypher is a block chain platform for powering cryptocurrency applications. Currently, BlockCypher supports Bitcoin, Bitcoin Testnet3, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and BlockCypher's Test Chain. We've added several APIs for developers:
BlockCypher Asset API allows developers to embed assets across blockchains. Endpoints are available to generate asset address, issue asset, transfer asset, and list asset.
BlockCypher Address API permits developers to find addresses, generate single addresses, and collect multiple addresses in the blockchain.
BlockCypher Metadata API allows developers to storage private and public addresses.
BlockCypher Wallet API allows developers to organize public addresses.
