Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Seventeen APIs were added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Marine, Transportation, Text-to-Speech and others. Included is an API from Pole Star that allows developers to track marine vessel navigation. Take a look at what is new.
Pole Star Space Applications is a major international brand in maritime transportation industry. The Pole Star API supports the streaming of navigational and tracking data of ships as they cruise the high seas or berths at destination ports.

DeviceHub is a PaaS that enables hardware/mobile developers to connect and to manage multiple devices remotely. DeviceHub API allows developers to integrate the DeviceHub platform into their applications, to build IoT projects for different devices. We've categorized the DeviceHub API under the Internet of Things category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of IoT APIs.
ResponsiveVoice API supports Text-To-Speech in 51 languages. This cross-platform HTML5-based library is open source for non-commercial use. It includes speech synthesis and speech recognition SW designed to Voice-Enable Web sites and apps. This API is filed under the Text-to-Speech category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Text-to-Speech APIs.
The SNCF (Société nationale des chemins de fer français) API is the API for France's national state-owned railway company. With this API users can check route schedules, track journeys from and to stations or regions, identify next departures or arrivals, and utilize lexicographical search. We've listed this API under the Transportation category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Transportation APIs.
Unbxd develops software tools for marketers and merchandisers and is a site search and recommendations platform for eCommerce applications. The Unbxd Search API calls the Unbxd cloud server to add marketing search capabilities to an online store. We've listed this API under the eCommerce category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of eCommerce APIs.
The GTX-Messaging SMPP API provides developers a way to integrate the GTX messaging service with their applications, enabling their users to use and implement SMPP interface for receiving and submitting messages from and to the gateway. We've listed this API under the Messaging category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Messaging APIs.
Sidecar is a cloud service for IoT applications and develops wearable devices that help people optimize health decisions. It can be used as a backend for wearable software infrastructure. The Sidecar Event API is used to send and receive event data to wearable sensors. Sidecar Query API complements the Event API by providing analytics data.

Amadeus technology travel services for businesses and individuals. Several more APIs provided by Amadeus are were added to the directory and today's additions include:
Amadeus Location Information API allows for the retrieval of location information corresponding to a IATA city or airport code.
Amadeus Rail-Station Information API allows users to retrieve the rail station information corresponding to an Amadeus UIC rail station ID. Only French and Italian stations are supported currently.
Amadeus Rail-Station Autocomplete API provides developers a way to integrate the Amadeus Rail-Station Autocomplete service with their applications, enabling their users the full name and rail station ID of a rail station for use in searches.
Amadeus Top Flight Destinations API provides developers a way to integrate the Amadeus Flight Destinations service with their applications, enabling their users to find the most popular flight destinations from an origin during a period.
Amadeus Top Flight Searches API enables users to find number of estimated searches from an origin, optionally a destination, within a time period when travelers are performing the searches.
Amadeus Train Extensive Search API provides a ways to search trains availability and prices for a single day or date range.
Amadeus Train Schedule Search API enables users to find all the possible destinations in the Rail Instant Search cache (used by Extensive Search above) from a given origin station on a given day.
Amadeus Travel Record Retrieve API provides developers a way to integrate the Amadeus Travel Record Retrieve service with their applications, providing users/businesses with information on a given record, including any air, car, hotel or rail reservations, as well as passenger details, and contact frequent traveler information for each passenger when available.
See the entire list of Amadeus APIs on their company page in our directory.
