Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fourteen APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories such as Artificial Intelligence, Advertising, Hardware and Recognition. Highlights today include APIs from Deepomatic that can identify furniture and clothing in photographs. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.
ABBYY Lingvo API provides access to a large collection of Russian dictionaries. Use the API to get data from 140 general, professional, and thematic dictionaries and thesauruses in 15 languages, plus examples of use, collocations and pronunciation. This API is listed under the Dictionary category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Dictionary APIs.

The API is listed under the DevOps category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of DevOps APIs.
Postlight designs and builds apps for web and mobile. Mercury is a web publishing toolkit with web parser and zero-code AMP converter. Postlight Mercury Web Parser API takes any web article and returns only the relevant content including headline, author, body text, relevant images and more. It extracts the meaningful components from your published pages' code and creates an AMP'd version, from just one line of code. This API is listed under the Extraction category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Extraction APIs.
HAAS Alert is a broadcasting service that helps first responders and emergency personnel broadcast live traffic and road incidents to motorists in real time. The HAAS Alert REST API allows developers to access and integrate the functionality of HAAS with other applications and to create new applications. Interested developers can email the company for API access and documentation. The HAAS Alert API is listed under the Emergency category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Emergency APIs.
AddStructure Scaffold allows companies to organize and structure user-generated content, such as reviews of products, into searchable, retrievable, and readable content.
