Daily API RoundUp: Reloadly, Kinow, Dronecode, Voicepods

Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or Source Code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb's directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. Six APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Mail, Application Development and Telephony. Highlights include SDKs and an API for Dronecode open source drone operation Platform Here's a rundown of the latest additions.


Reloadly provides tools for mobile airtime and top-up services for prepaid phones. Developers can use the Reloadly API to add top-up services to applications with no contracts, no restrictions, and easy onboarding. The Reloadly API is listed in our Telephony category. Kinow is a modular video content management platform. Kinow supports instant cloud deployment, monetization by advertising, user data visualizations, and more. Bitbar provides enterprise mobile DevOps and application testing services. The Bitbar API provides third-party application integration and methods to manage project basics, testing environments, and more. It is listed in our the Application Development category. Voicepod provides automated human-like text- to-speech (TTS) services . The Voicepods API returns JSON responses with voice and text-to-speech narration features. Voicepods includes 16 International voices including Dutch, French, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Turkish, Spanish, Hindi and English. The service is primarily used to create natural sounding podcasts from written text. The Voicepods API is listed under the Text-to-Speech category. DocuSend is a cloud based mailroom serives that enables users to send documents to the U.S. Post Office from their desktop. The DocuSend Print-to-Mail API allows developers to add a menu option or button to their application to "Send US Mail". This circumvents the need to manually upload a file using DocuSend's web interface. The API is listed under the Mail category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Mail APIs.

Dronecode provides is open source software for connecting and controlling drones. The Dronecode API and SDKs can be used to integrate drone functionality with cargo, aerial photography, scientific, and surveying applications. Use the API to manage one or more vehicles, provide programmatic access to vehicle information and telemetry, and manage control over movement and operations.
