Daily API RoundUp: Sentdex, GoodHire, Zatar, OnTime

Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at editor@programmableweb.com.

We’ve added 6 APIs to the ProgrammableWeb directory today in Financial, Background, and Avatar categories, among others. Here, we’ve summarized what is new.

APIs

Sentdex specializes in the analysis of finance, politics, and geographical data. The Sentdex API offers financial trading signals and raw data from a stock sentiment analysis database for market investors who try to predict results. The API relays signals for any companies that have had sentiment reports in the last 24 hours. The sentiment signals are provided via a number: from -3 for strongest negative sentiment, up to 6, for strongest positive sentiment.
