Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thirteen APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Spam, Notifications, Prices, Travel and Machine Learning, among others. Highlights include two APIs from NASA for planetary data and the SimpleML automated machine learning API. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.
The OnTop Notification API allows developers to get notifications on their phones to keep them informed about their apps. It can be used to get notified of new app content that requires review, report severe crashes or bugs, receive push notifications from internet-connected devices, and perform simple app analytics and engagement studies. The OnTop API is listed under the Notifications category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Notifications APIs.

The G-LockApps API is an email tracking solution that tests the deliverability of emails to the inboxes of target recipients. The API tests spam filters and checks the deliverability status of outbound emails to target destinations so that a sender can fix functionality barriers or content issues prior to hitting the send button. The G-LockApps API is listed under the Spam category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Spam APIs.
UAE Car Registration API aids the real-time retrieval of registration details along with technical data and functionality characteristics of vehicles bearing UAE number plates. Users can use the SOAP-based API to access crucial government-sourced automobile information including: model type, year of manufacture, year of registration, engine size, vehicle identification number, gross weight, displacement, and 50 other descriptive data fields. The API covers all the seven emirates of the UAE and is listed under the Auto category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Auto APIs.
The PriceJSON API returns detailed pricing for over 340 million products sold through Amazon.com. It provides product price, shipping price, buy box, seller name, and seller rating. The PriceJSON API is listed under the Prices category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Prices APIs.
The NASA Planetary Content API upgrades the visibility features of imagery and other crucial geospatial information that astronomical scientists access through the Google Maps API. NASA developed the Planetary Content API to increase the quality standards of web-based frameworks for map types such as Moon maps and Mars maps. This API is listed under the Mapping category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Mapping APIs.
The NASA Planetary Data Systems (PDS) API serves as a common channel for accessing data stored in all the eight nodes that constitute the PDS directory. Backed by NASA's Science Mission Directorate, the PDS archives huge collections of planetary exploration data, ranging from space images to models and telemetry, attributable to planetary missions stretching to as way back as 30 years ago. The RESTful API allows scientists to filter and tailor PDS data to suit their needs. The ccc API is listed under the Astronomy category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Astronomy APIs.
Available in German language, Meteotest offers measurements of the past and forecasts of the future, in addition to information about temperature, sunshine, rain showers, snow and wind and fog and thunder and lightning calculated by Meteonorm software. The Meteotest Data Exchange API provides data and weather forecasts. The Meteotest API is listed under the Weather category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Weather APIs.
Serendipify allows users to search social and professional circles for suitable collaborations. Serendipify.Me API is useful in the integration of people search engine features, and can invite people into a search group to obtain a unique group instance handle (token). Guests use their token to set private preferences by which they get matched anonymously against everyone else in the group. People with matches can send connection requests. The API is listed under the Community category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Community APIs.

Travelbriefing.org is s a database-as-a-service platform that provides access to country-specific information about travel regulations and prevailing environmental conditions. Developers can make Travelbriefing.org API calls to remotely access information such as security situation, visa requirements, weather, transport, energy, financials, communication, health, and demographic characteristics of populations. The Travelbriefing API is listed under the Travel category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Travel APIs.
JsonOdds is a sports betting odds service designed specifically to provide developers with sports odds data. The JsonOdds API allows developers to integrate odds data for MLB, NBA, NCAA Basketball, NCAA Football, NFL, NHL, MMA, soccer, and tennis into their own websites and applications. We've listed the API in the Sports category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Sports APIs.
