Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at email@example.com.
Nine APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories such as Recognition, Software-as-a-Service, Fonts, and Travel. Here's a summary of the new additions.
Webconverger is a Linux-based OS for accessing Web apps privately and securely. The open source Webconverger API allows to integrate Web Kiosk features where multiple computers provide services to users, such as in banks, schools or libraries. We've listed this API under the Software-as-a-Service category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of SaaS APIs.
NetSpark provides Web filtering services. NetSpark Nude Detect API is an image recognition API geared towards filtering images containing nudity, pornography or otherwise lewd conduct. It supports many image types and is JSON formatted. The API can distinguish between images of swimwear or lingerie and those of a pornographic nature. This API has been added to the directory under the Recognition category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Recognition APIs.
Mailgun Events API primarily facilitates email tracking. Users can monitor the conveyance of email communications to target recipients. The RESTful API is fully documented and is designed to convey returns in JSON format. We've categorized the Mailgun Events API under the Email category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Email APIs.
