Dynatrace Enables Automated Monitoring with All-New Environment API

Dynatrace, an application performance management systems provider, has announced the release of the all-new Dynatrace Environment API. The new API is a part of the company’s Cluster API and appears to be in beta. Dynatrace is providing this Resource to enable developers to automatically create, update, or delete monitoring environments.

The company believes that “automatic monitoring orchestration” is crucial to succeeding in dynamic environments. The Environments API is designed to streamline automation and includes features like automatic creation of trial environments for new users, overview capabilities for existing environments, and environment tagging functionality.

The Environments API is a part of the company’s “Early Adopter” program and is expected to be updated with new functionality frequently. The announcement of the resource provides additional information for developers looking to get started.
