Instagram Opens Ads API to Select Group of Marketing Partners

Instagram has opened the Instagram Ads API to a select group of marketing partners. The Instagram Ads API allows businesses to publish and manage targeted advertising campaigns on the Instagram photo-sharing network. Instagram marketing partners currently include 4C, Ampush, Brand Networks, Kenshoo, Nanigans, Olapic, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SocialCode, and Unified. Instagram plans on expanding API access to many more marketing companies in the coming months.

Instagram launched its digital advertising platform in October 2013 to a small group of brands. The company has been working hard since the launch on improving the platform by adding new digital ad formats, targeted advertising, call-to-action buttons, campaign management, analytics, and more. The Facebook-acquired photo-sharing network currently sees over 300M monthly active users and an average of over 70M photos posted every day. This level of active user volume offers tremendous revenue possibilities for those marketing companies selected to be Instagram Ads API partners.
