Microsoft Adds Windows Update Management Functionality to Graph APIs

Microsoft has released new functionality that targets IT professionals as part of a public preview of new Microsoft Graph APIs. The new features enable better management of Windows Updates and provide powerful control over update deployment and Resource management.

Developers will be able to leverage the APIs to handle simple procedures like approving or bypassing operating system updates. Additionally, more complicated processes, like batched rollout of update deployment are now possible via the public preview. Users will also be provided granular control over update settings, allowing for a more streamlined process when updating software on devices at scale.

This update is available immediately for customers who are using Windows 10 Enterprise E3 or E5, Windows 10 Education A3 or A5, Windows Virtual Desktop Access E3 or E5, and Microsoft 365 Business Premium.
