Monster Worldwide, the job matching service, has released a new service that consumes the Twitter API to enhance the effectiveness of recruitment advertising via social media. Called Monster Social Ads, the tool automates job distribution, now expanding on Twitter card-based job ads to allow specific candidate targeting by career experience and job type.
The new functionality for Monster Social Ads is to be launched as a beta for use with Twitter advertising on November 6. Companies such as Blue Shield, Citizens Financial, eBay, Geico, ManpowerGroup, T-Mobile & UPS are among the first enlisted to test the new Social Ad performance with their recruitment campaigns.
“Today, recruiting requires the ability to harness the power of social platforms such as Twitter for job ad distribution, in addition to the more traditional sources used to reach the right candidates,” said Joe Budzienski, Vice President of Technology at Monster.
