Ping Identity, a defined security solution provider, has added new features to its PingIntelligence for APIs solution. The solution is an artificial intelligence based cybersecurity solution that exposes active APIs, identifies and blocks API cyber attacks, and provides detailed reports on all API activity. The new features include a cloud trial, new attack type detection, Splunk support, and new API gateway integration.
The cloud trial uses many of the same AI-based features of the existing solution. However, Ping Identity is offering access to the solution through a cloud-hosted environment. The goal is to ease access and simplify use of the AI-based solution.
Ping Identity has strengthened the product to include new threats and attacks. New attacks to login systems, data theft, remote application control, API-specific DoS/DDos attacks, stolen credentials, and the constantly changing threat landscape are all addressed in the new detection features. The new threat detection complements the continued protection against traditional enterprise security threats.
Additionally, PingIntelligence for APIs has expanded the API gateways with which it integrates. Gateways now include PingAccess, Axway AMPLIFY and Apigee's Edge platform. Finally, the solution now supports Splunk environments. Stay tuned for more announcements and feature enhancements.
