Postman 6.0 Introduces Workspaces to Improve Project Organization and Team Collaboration

Postman, an API development environment provider, has released Postman 6.0 which introduces Workspaces, an environment where groups of users can collaborate on API development projects and testing APIs. Individual developers can organize their work in personal workspaces and teams of developers can collaborate in team workspaces.

The Workspaces feature is designed to help developers better organize and speed up their API development work. The Workspaces feature does this by allowing developers to gather API resources and relevant team members within a targeted workspace. Workspaces also aims to help improve team collaboration on API development and connected software projects by allowing team members to sync and share Postman environments without the need for environment templates. In addition, team members can update a Postman collection in any workspace where the collection exists. The company offers Team workspaces as part of the Pro and Enterprise plans.

"We are thrilled to announce Workspaces, which we believe is a critical component of collaboration within Postman," said Abhinav Asthana, CEO and co-founder of Postman, in a prepared statement. "This is the latest feature that we believe serves our mission of becoming *the* developer Platform for an API-first world."
