APIs are connecting small businesses and helping create new partnerships. One organization making that happen is the Small Business Web, a consortium of API providers that are working together to create better small business tools. The group is holding its first-ever summit November 11-12 in San Jose and you're invited.
The Eventbrite listing explains the event this way:
An intimate gathering of marketing, technology, and business development leaders making decisions to move the small business software industry forward. Come prepared to lead, take action, make deals, and have fun!
"This is about doing some serious work together to build the industry, drink, play, and get things done," said Freshbooks' Sunir Shah, a Small Business Web member.
There are now 172 company members of the Small Business Web. Developers can play an important role in connecting these tools together to create new products to help businesses. Take a look at all the members and see which you want to use. Then, if you'll be in the San Jose area, come meet the companies and help create the future of the open web.
