ESPN API Now Supports International Sports Including Olympics

The Olympics have been the focus of the sports world for the last couple of weeks and ESPN has capitalized on this by releasing the latest update to its API. Developers now have access to schedules, results, and medal count information.

ESPN has also listened to soccer fans by letting developers access soccer news, team and athlete information, standings, scores and schedules for all major soccer leagues.

LinkedIn Revamps API Terms and Updates Developer Platform

LinkedIn has announced changes to their API terms of service and updates to their Developer Platform in an effort to allow users to take their LinkedIn identity with them across the web. According to The Register:

What this means in practice is that the company will grant outside developers access to email addresses for its users upon request. Those coders will be able to "specify permissions from users who want to use their LinkedIn credentials to sign in and register for applications," the firm explained.

The 500friends API allows developers to access and integrate the functionality and features of 500friends with other applications. Public Documentation is not available; API documentation and access comes with accounts.

AuthyAuthy API: Authy is an authentication service for websites and applications. Authy uses a two-factor authentication process for secure websites and applications.

Biscom FaxBiscom Fax API: Biscom offers fax and document delivery services. Biscom Fax is a fax server and software that allows businesses to access and host their fax services.

The Bugsnag Notifier API can be used to alert Bugsnag of an error or exception in an application. The Bugsnag Deploy Tracking API tracks multiple deploys of an app so that developers can identify the deploy in which an error was introduced.

DoYouBuzzDoYouBuzz API: DoYouBuzz is a resume management platform. It has many features for designing and sharing users’ resumes. Users begin by creating resumes out of template formats.
