Revolv to Developers: There's No API Like Home
Revolv puts all those app-controlled home devices into one app. With it's API, that could be yours. From Sonos speakers, to Philips Hue lights, from Yale Lock, to Wemo, Revolv sets it up so that you can create patterns of use, not just manage one device at a time.
Public documentation is not available but they do have a developer site for registration. Revolv looks like it has all the standard features one would expect to control various devices. In addition, devices can be controlled by the user's proximity to the home, turning lights on automatically as home owners approach, without having to touch their smart phones, for example.
ZowPow Toys API and SDK Move Your Game into the Real World
Got game? What if one of your game's characters became a real toy that could be used as a controller by the game player? That may sound too complex for even the most seasoned developer. After all, what programmer makes toys? ZowPow Toys will do that part for you, right down to making the toys. The developer's role is to take the API and SDK and integrate it into their game. ZowPow Toys does the rest (in consultation with the game developer).
ZowPow Toys provides examples of what the finished integration looks like--children having fun. Each toy has a controller in it that connects it to the game.
