TomTom Extends API to Fleet Management Technology
TomTom hopes to increase integration possibilities by opening up its fleet management technology. TomTom’s open API will provide access to, “data from hardware, such as tire pressure sensors and temperature control units, with comprehensive information from their vehicle fleet.” The company hopes to expand the range of available solutions by getting developers involved.

A Gyft For Mobile Developers
Gyft, a digital gift card platform that enables you to manage your gift cards, has released an API that will provide integration potential for websites, apps, and other services. Despite a wealth of possible uses for this API, Gyft seems focused on mobile developers. In an interview with TechCrunch Vinny Lingham, co-founder and CEO of Gyft, had this to say:
“There are a lot of mobile games out there. It’s a huge market. And the people who already have mobile phones, playing mobile games, are going to be more open to using mobile gift cards.”
Interested developers can submit an API application to get started.
