Twilio Adds New Properties to Voice Insights API

In September of 2016, Twilio launched the company’s Twilio Voice Insights APITrack this API, a new tool designed to enhance monitoring capabilities during WebRTC calls. The company has recently updated an API changelog that highlights various improvements to the API and associated SDKs. 

Specifically, the Voice Insights Call Summary functionality adds new properties for calls placed using the Twilio Voice SDKs. Twilio provided this table that displays the additions:

Additionally, the Voice Insights Metrics API adds an all-new sdk_edge.interval.packets_loss_percentage property, designed to “represent the percentage of packets lost during the sampling window.”
