W3C Announced First Public Working Draft for Indexed Database API V3

The W3C has announced that the Web Applications Working Group has released the First Public Working Draft of the new Indexed Database API V 3.0. This latest iteration of the document was published on March 11th and is intended to supersede all previous versions. 

The W3C outlined the purpose of the document by stating that:

“This document defines APIs for a database of records holding simple values and hierarchical objects. Each record consists of a key and some value. Moreover, the database maintains indexes over records it stores.”
