As we have noted, FourSquare has become an extremely popular way to share where you are. However, unlike yesterday's hot location-sharing app, BrightKite, FourSquare does not have the ability to share photos. Is this an oversight, or is it an opportunity to fill a void?
We live in a world that does not wait for anything. Today my computer took longer than 20 seconds to start and I literally started wondering if I needed to buy a new one. With this in mind, consider the importance of uptime and reliability to app designers. During the AWS outage I can still remember a friend of mine posting a photo to facebook with the addendum included, “instagram is down, I will re-post this tomorrow” signaling to all his friends that things will be OK. Clearly, for the sake of my obsessed friend, the reliability of applications should be taken seriously. BugSense may have a way to help.
Yes, you read that title correctly. WhereTheLadies. At is, indeed, a thing that exists. Before you get start joking around, let's be honest. Checking in all the time on Foursquare has earned you nothing but Mayorships and a free slice of pizza every once in a while. Well, that's about to change.
