Appy Pie, cloud based mobile apps builder, continues to add to its list of supported APIs. Its latest additions include some of the most prevalent names in image sharing: Facebook, Flickr, Pinterest, Picassa and Instagram. The image newcomers to the Appy Pie portfolio allow developers to share images in realtime with users.
You may soon be able to "Digg This" from within your applications. The social news site's API (our Digg API profile) has long been able to list stories and other data. Now it's looking to let developers add content programmatically.
Twitter today made the Search Tweets API, the first of several new premium APIs, available to developers as a public beta. The move shows Twitter is following through on its commitment from earlier this year to help developers scale their projects from low-level to enterprise-class endeavors.
