Claiming.com.au is set to launch an Australian Medicare API that should drastically improve eClaiming processes for developers working with the state funded and run healthcare system. Although Medicare has served as the primary healthcare system in Australia for almost 30 years, the system has run into major bottlenecks as its technological infrastructure has not always kept up with demand. The API allows software vendors to integrate online claiming with Medicare and the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
Google just made it easier for more developers to get paid in more countries around the world. The company expanded how consumers can pay for apps in the Play Store, and added to the number of countries that can sell apps.
Subscription billing service provider Recurly launched v2.5 of its API. The latest version includes new endpoints and a variety of new attributes for both the request and response side. All new features gives developers more flexibility in sorting through subscription and transaction data.
