TeamViewer, remote support and online meeting software provider, has launched the TeamViewer 9 Beta which includes the TeamViewer API. TeamViewer has been a heavily adopted meeting package and is now on its 9th edition. The API launch has been long asked for and TeamViewer expects a two-pronged adoption of the API. Some developers will choose to build custom applications with the API, others will incorporate TeamViewer functions into existing workflows and solutions.
Eleven APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Bitcoin, Open Data, and Collaboration. Highlights include the denoti API, which provides endpoints for dozens of finance, economic, cryptocurrency and banking data and integration services.
DoneDone, issue tracking service, offers the DoneDone API that enables developers to include DoneDone's feature set via existing workflows and third party applications. DoneDone's premier goal is to streamline and simplify projects and eliminate the use of spreadsheets, sticky notes, email chains and other traditional forms of cumbersome notes and reminders.
