Gliffy, a browser-based diagramming and flowchart tool, today announced the public availability of their new API (technical details at our Gliffy API Profile). The four year old company announced the new API on its blog, noting that Gliffy hopes to take advantage of the growing trend of companies that are unlocking their APIs to extend the reach of their applications and data.
Google has announced the release a new production version of the Google Visualization API which includes several brand new features including timeline charts, donut charts, map data refresh for geoChart, customizable tick values and labels, and other chart improvements.
Nineteen APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories such as Payments, Healthcare, and Charts. Highlights today include an API which can create charts out of financial stock market results and an API that provides blood glucose data for diabetes applications.
