Visa has opened the submission process for the next edition of The Everywhere Initiative. The next phase is open to startups in Australia and New Zealand that will respond to one of three challenges that use Visa APIs to improve commerce experiences. Visa will accept responses through August 26th.
Imagine checking out at the grocery store once, and breaking that single transaction into multiple payments at scheduled intervals. Visa sites research that indicates this functionality is attractive to consumers and Visa is developing an API that will allow merchants to offer this option.
Sixteen APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Internet of Things, Credit Cards, Health, Blogging and Wearables. Featured today are three APIs from Capital One, that were announced earlier today. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.
