Marketers want to take direct control of their IT environment, so it’s only natural that many marketers now look to the cloud to access a large number of applications. Teradata developed its Integrated Marketing Cloud to provide a central console through which those marketers can access and manage those applications.
Amazon just dropped prices on its popular Amazon S3 API, which provides storage to much of the web. The service will pass 1 trillion objects stored this year. With that volume comes opportunities to lower the costs, as we've seen from other companies whose entire product line includes APIs.
Amazon released its AWS Cloud Development Kit last year as a preview. Now, the CDKs for TypeScript and Python are now generally available. The CDK allows administrators to manage their infrastructure using the same language and tools they use to build applications, a move towards DevOps practices.
