Payleven, the Square equivalent for the world outside of the US, has launched an API to complement its mobile payment device. Prior to the API, use of Payleven's mobile payment device required downloading the Payleven app (similar to Square's current model). However, the API allows developers to integrate Payleven's functionality within third party apps.
Square is moving beyond the retail terminal thanks to a handful of new APIs meant to help companies accept payments in more places. The E-Commerce API and Register API target retailers large and small with a simple set of tools that integrate fully with Square's payment processing platform.
UTRUST has a bold vision: to be the PayPal of cryptocurrencies. The Swiss startup has a number of APIs in beta, and plans on launching a publicly available crypto payment platform in early 2019. The platform will enable both online and brick and mortar merchants to accept cryptocurrency payments.
